At 4Paws Country Kennels, pricing works just like a hotel: if your pet is on the property, it counts as a full day. No hidden fees, no half-day math, and no juggling complicated add-ons. Just clear, honest rates for exceptional care.
At 4Paws Country Kennels, we make sure your dog feels right at home while you’re away. Located just minutes from the Colorado Springs Airport with easy access to I-25, our Veteran and family-owned facility offers your furry friend the perfect mix of comfort, safety, and playtime.
Our dog boarding guests enjoy a full acre of fenced land to run, play, and socialize. From fetch in the sunshine to cooling off in our doggy swimming area, your dog’s stay will feel like their own vacation!
Absolutely. First-time boarders are welcome, and our team takes extra care to help them settle in. A familiar item from home, like a worn t-shirt or small blanket, can help ease the transition. Let us know at drop-off that it is your dog’s first boarding experience so we can check in on them more frequently during the first day.
Medication administration is included for all boarding dogs at no additional charge. Bring medications in their original labeled containers with written dosage and timing instructions. If your dog has a more complex medical routine, including multiple medications or specific timing requirements, let us know when you book so we can plan accordingly.
Call us at 719-660-1260 as soon as you know, and we will extend your dog’s reservation. We understand that travel does not always go according to plan, and we will never leave a boarding guest without care because a flight was delayed or a trip ran long.
Boarding guests have access to our full one-acre fenced property for outdoor play, socialization, and time in our doggy splash zone throughout the day. Dogs are not kept in a run all day. Rest periods are built into the schedule, but exercise, fresh air, and human interaction are part of every boarding dog’s daily routine.
We follow a Fear Free arrival approach for every boarding guest, and especially for dogs that are anxious or boarding for the first time. Before arrival, we ask about your dog’s known triggers, stress signals, and social history so we can plan their introduction to the facility. On drop-off day, we allow nervous dogs to move at their own pace rather than rushing them through the transition. A familiar item from home, such as a worn t-shirt or small blanket, can help significantly and is always welcome. Dogs that show signs of elevated stress are given time to settle before joining any group activity or outdoor rotation.
