Table of Contents

1. Vaccination Requirements

To keep all pets safe, vaccinations must be administered at least 48 hours before arrival, though we prefer they’re given 10–14 days before check-in for best protection.

Required for Dogs

  • DPP with Adenovirus (1 or 3-year)
  • Bordetella (every 12 months; must be given 48+ hours before arrival)
  • Rabies (1 or 3-year)
  • Leptospirosis (required every 12 months)
  • Canine Influenza – Not required, but highly recommended
  • Must have proof that the animal has been treated for worms to prevent any kind of infestation, and it must show on the vaccination record

Required for Cats

  • FVRCP (1 or 3-year)
  • Rabies (1 or 3-year)
  • Must have proof that the animal has been treated for worms to prevent any kind of infestation, and it must show on the vaccination record

Fleas & Ticks

All pets must be flea & tick free at check-in.
If signs of fleas/ticks are present, we cannot accept the pet for boarding or daycare.

Why We Require the Leptospirosis Vaccine

Our facility is located on an acre of land where dogs play outdoors. Wildlife such as foxes, raccoons, and skunks frequently pass through our property, which increases the risk of exposure to Leptospira bacteria.

Because Leptospirosis:

  • Can cause kidney and liver failure
  • Spreads through contaminated water/soil
  • Can be transferred from dogs to humans
  • Thrives in outdoor, moist environments

…we require ALL dogs to be vaccinated for everyone’s safety.

All pets must have been dewormed as part of the dog’s annual vaccination schedule and also have been treated for fleas and ticks.

** Written proof of vaccinations is required at drop-off **

2. Food Policy

We strongly recommend bringing your pet’s regular food to avoid tummy upset.

If you forget your pet’s regular food, we can:

  • Provide our preferred brand for $10/day,
    OR
  • Purchase your pet’s usual food and add the cost to your final bill (with your permission)
